These are the 20 most common questions clients ask us when considering our services.

1. I already have an installation system, can you work with it?
Our software system has been designed to connect to all major transmission systems.  There may be one or two exceptions but this would be identified at the time of our site visit when we would advise on other available options.
2.Will you work with my current installer?
Yes. We are more than happy to work alongside your existing installer. And, if you do not have an installation we are happy to help and advise you on the selection of a suitable installer.
3.Are your staff screened?
Yes. All our employees are fully screened to BS7858 and fully licensed in accordance with the legal requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
4.I only want to have one phone call for all my CCTV monitoring services, can you help?
Yes. We will work with you and any other providers you have on board to ensure you only need to make one phone call and receive one invoice for your security services.
5.Are you independent?
Yes. Valleywatch is a totally independent station with no ties to any one installer.
6.Can I visit your Central Station?
Yes. We welcome visits so please feel free to call us and arrange a suitable date and time.
7.Do you charge by the camera or detector?
We charge on a per camera basis.
8.Do you include audio challenges?
Yes. All our quotes include audio challenge provision if your installation has these facilities.
9.Do you monitor intruder alarms?
No. However, if the IAS output is directed to a DVR we will monitor it without any additional charge.
10.Do you offer random patrols?
Only on Team Valley.
11.Do you provide site boards?
Yes. We can provide site boards if required.
12.Where can you monitor?
Our monitoring service is available across the UK and is free of geographical restriction.
13.Do you monitor ISDN systems?
Yes. We have legacy equipment to monitor analogue systems.
14.Are your services standardised or tailor made?
All our service packages are bespoke and tailor-made to the individual needs and specifications of each client.
15.Are there any hidden or additional charges?
None at all and we won’t hit you with massive price rises at contract renewal time. Our ethos is to develop long term and mutually rewarding partnerships with our clients.
16.What are your payment terms?
Our terms are based on in-advance payment. We offer monthly, quarterly or annual payment.
17.Will you visit my site?
Yes, we always prefer to make a site visit to ensure the service package we suggest is the right one for you.
18.Do you have a minimum charge?
No, there is no minimum charge or penalty. We are happy to monitor a single camera or many hundreds of cameras, though the more cameras you have the better the rate we can offer you.
19.How quickly can I connect?
Once your installation is complete we can usually connect straight away. If we do encounter any problems these are usually resolved well within 24 hours.
20.Do you carry out installations?
No, we are a remote CCTV monitoring station, we do not carry out installations.
